2-Weekends, 4-Full Days Classroom & Range CCW Qualification
"The Weekender" Classroom & Range CCW Qualification is split up over 2-weekends of your choice Classroom and Range CCW Qualification will have the certifications & range time required to apply for CCW licenses/permits issued from Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Idaho Enhance, Florida, and Virginia.
Day #1: CLASSROOM: DEFENSIVE HANDGUN SAFETY & GEAR SELECTION. What is the best gun for personal defense? You will learn a proven formula for choosing a defensive handgun that will work for YOU. This is the foundation of firearm safety for everyone. On this day, you will come away with proven strategies for choosing your defensive handgun, ammo, and holsters … PLUS a safety plan for the whole family.
Day #2: CLASSROOM: GUN LAWS AND THE JUDICIOUS USE OF DEADLY FORCE. This is our most popular segment. You must KNOW and UNDERSTAND the laws and protocols surrounding personal defense. TO SHOOT … or … NOT TO SHOOT? That is the question! Knowing HOW to shoot the gun may be the easy part. But understanding WHEN, and more importantly: when NOT to use deadly force is the knowledge that will keep you on the right side of the law.
Day #3: LIVE-FIRE RANGE: THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SHOOTING A DEFENSIVE HANDGUN. Live-Fire Handgun instruction on the Range. On this first day of Live-Fire, you will explore the basics of a strong and comfortable stance coupled with an effective grip on the handgun. With safety always in mind, you will shoot at varying distances as your confidence and skill improves. Everyone will benefit from confirming solid safety protocols and a controlling firearm grip.
Day #4: LIVE-FIRE RANGE: SKILL BUILDER & QUALIFICATION: $800
On the second Range Day, you will shoot with the confidence gained from the previous day. We finish this day with a Live-Fire, Documented Qualification. A passing score is the last step in your Permit/License Qualification Course. If you are ever forced to use a gun to defend yourself from an inescapable threat, this is part of the documented paper trail that your legal counsel will need in preparation for your courtroom defense.
