So … You have your Concealed Carry Weapon License/Permit (CCW). Now what?
This class focuses on the use of a Handgun to protect your LIFE … and the lives of your loved ones.
This class is recommended for the intermediate to advanced experienced shooter.
We will focus on the knowledge and skills necessary to quickly Dominate and … End a sudden, inescapable deadly assault. This is the fight for your LIFE.
You will come away from this class with the skills to move & shoot during the chaos of a suddenly violent, deadly encounter.
Offered twice in 2026. Either in May or September.
Day #1:
Saturday, September 5, 2026
We begin with the suddenly violent assault on your LIFE:
· Student Handgun safety & effectiveness evaluation
· Grip & Stance drills
· Range proficiency evaluation
· Shooting drills
· Holster Presentations (the Draw Stroke)
· Concealment options (open-front & closed-front)
· Right-handed shooting & Left-handed shooting
· Steel targets. Dueling Trees & gongs & torsos & plates …
· To SHOOT or NOT to SHOOT? Decision drills
· Moving & shooting (timed)
· Multiple assailants
· Hostage rescue scenarios
· Add-on: Make, Model & Caliber Handgun sampling,
evaluation and test firing.
Day #2:
Sunday, September 6, 2026
During our second day on the range, you will learn how to evaluate and choose the most effective handgun to suit your everyday carry.
You will build instinctive skills to diagnose and clear the 4 most common handgun malfunctions and learn how to clear them under duress.
· Handgun Malfunctions. Clearing Malfunctions under fire.
o Type 1 Malfunction: Live trigger. Click … No bang.
o Type 2 Malfunction: Dead trigger. Failure to eject spent
casing.
o Type 3 Malfunction: Dead trigger. Double Feed.
Feed-way jam.
o Type 4 Malfunction: Dead trigger. Failure to return to
battery.
Gunfight Physical Trauma? Tourniquets. You will learn the basics of Trauma First-aid. Stop the leak!
· Introduction to Gunshot Trauma First Aid. Tourniquets.
· Standing Shooting Stances/Positions:
o Weaver *Chapman *McMillan *Isosceles
· Introduction to Back-Up guns
· Moving & shooting. (timed)
You will develop the confidence and skills to shoot with either your Right hand or your Left hand.

Day #3:
Monday, September 7, 2026
(Way Beyond Your CCW adds a 3rd day)
Day #3 is our 4-Gun Day. We begin with an evaluation and shooting trials to study the effectiveness of different firearm choices for Personal Protection.
Next, each shooter will become confident with a variety of shooting positions that be encountered in an urban setting.
Inside the home, or outside the home … chances are good you will not be alone. Learn how to safely move with a loved-one to the advantage of cover and concealment.
Wolves travel in packs. An ambush has no warning. You will find yourself involved and you must “come as you are”. A good Boy Scout was always prepared. You will be too. How will you carry your gun? Holster? Purse? Murse? Choose wisely …
· Intro to: Semiautomatic Pistols
· Intro to: Revolvers
· Intro to: Shotgun
· Intro to: AR-15
· Additional shooting positions.
o High Kneel
o Low Kneel o Squat
o Prone … On your belly … On your Butt … On your Side …
· Shooting from cover
· Moving/ from cover with a partner
· Multiple assailants & Hostage Rescue (timed)
· Introduction to Purse/Murse carry

Our classes are designed for the motivated student dedicated to the serious choice of firearm ownership.
