This is defensive handgun training you can bet your life on!   This is a day of tactical range shooting designed for the motivated student whom is dedicated to the serious choice/responsibility of defensive firearm ownership.  We start the day with the firearm safety and protocols for the day.  Then a tactical day of defensive handgun exercises & drills. 

The informal steel dueling tree competitions afford a fantastic opportunity to agreeable stress and challenge the mind & reflexes of the shooters. Paper targets don't move, don't change positions. Bottles and bowling pins don't re-appear after being shattered or knocked-down, but steel dueling tree targets naggingly re-pear and demand shifting attention as another shooter hits them, forcing an unpredictability and urgent but erratic pace that compels mind and body focus. Great for training.

Their minds have to "re-shape" to accommodate the disappearances and random re-appearances of the steel dueling tree targets. The mild adrenaline boost of the steel dueling tree competitions gives the shooter a safe and fun, gentle degree of familiarization with need-to-perform stress, akin in a mild way to that which comes from an actual defensive situation with an animated adversary, meeting a core purpose of practical training. We keep the firing line limited to a small number of shooters so everyone has the opportunity for some one-on-one coaching. This class is appropriate for both novice and seasoned shooters alike.
